REZUME was formed in mid-2008 in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. The name Rezume itself is often mentioned as an acronym for the word 'Remaja Mesum' (perverted teenager). It's a little tickling, but that reason is quite unfounded considering that many of the lyrics Rezume creates are about sex. Rezume itself carries the flow of brutal porn slamming deathmetal. In 2013 Rezume released their work in the form of an album entitled "Fragment of Blassedness Spermicide" under the Australian label "Primu Cuts Music". And having toured domestically and abroad, Rezume often appears on well-known music events such as: Bali Death Fest 2010, Balixtreme Metal Fest 2010, Macbeth Indonesian Tour 2012, Headlainer at Monster Of Legend 2012 Bulungan - Jakarta, Hammersonic ( Jakarta International Metal Festival) 2013 and 2016, Jackloth Festival 2016, Headlainer at MBC 4 Mojokerto-East Java 2013 and 2015, Rock In Solo Festival 2016, and Headlainer at Lumajang Deathfest 2023. Rezume also received an award in the form of "The Winner of Hammersonic Award" (First rock/metal awards in Indonesia) in 2016.
