MALANG, Indonesia – Emerging alternative band Blue Stripe, formed on December 19, 2022, has just dropped their highly anticipated debut EP titled "Bastard!" on May 6, 2024. The band, consisting of Rico (vocals), Rafi (guitar), Rio (bass), and Billy (drums), is known for their distinctive blue stripe-y licks that set their music apart.


"Bastard!" explores the journey of a fictional character with a "bastard" nature, conveyed through five contrasting tracks: "Red Hair Colored Girl," "Mystery of Love," "Upside Down," "Too Good to Be True," and "Lucky Bastard." Each song uniquely reflects the protagonist's ambiguous perception of "true love," showcasing the band's versatility and creative depth.
