#BreakingNews : MUCHLIS IN ENGLISH Launches Debut Album, Bringing New Colors to Their Journey

Amid various ups and downs, Muchlis In English has officially launched their debut album titled "Rewel!".

Following the release of their single "Bersemi", Muchlis In English has now unveiled their first full-length album, "Rewel!". This debut is particularly special as it marks a new chapter and introduces fresh elements to the band's creative journey, which has spanned four years.

"We tried many new things on this album, including Alvin's presence and collaborations with friends," said Zaki, the lead vocalist.

Before this, the punk trio from Bandung, consisting of Zaki Asshiddiq (Vocals), Dechan Martawidjaja (Bass), and Alvin Petyrs (Guitar), had released one EP, three singles, and a music video. Their unique punk style remains evident in this new album, which aims to be fresh and ear-catching. 

With Alvin's full involvement alongside Zaki and Dechan, the band's genre exploration has grown broader and stronger. The album features a collaboration with saxophonist Fauzi Helmi, adding to the rich musical exploration. For the drum tracks, Muchlis In English collaborated with Rai from Age Of Spin. Additionally, they included a slower song featuring Naufal Fikri Akmal, who also assisted in the album's recording.

"Rewel!" addresses social concerns such as bullying and war, inspired by events around them. After extensive production and brainstorming, the band felt a strong desire to release this album to the public. They hope it will be well-received and enjoyed by listeners.

To complement the album "Rewel!", Muchlis In English worked with Bandung-based illustrator Caricollaz for the album cover.

"We hope this album brings a refreshing change for everyone."

The debut album contains 12 tracks plus one karaoke song, including the previously released single "Bersemi". It is independently launched at Kasungka Cultural Dimension.
