"Malfungsi" delves into the devastating impacts of war, questioning the morality and humanity behind conflicts driven by power and ambition. The track, recorded at Southstar Record in Wates, Kulon Progo, and produced by Angger Putra Yudiarta with engineer Anselmus Bagas Putra Kumara, captures the band's raw and intense sound.
Formed on November 31, 2019, Paraphernalia consists of Arip (vocals), Kevin (guitar), Haryo (bass), Deva (drums), and Juan (guitar), who joined as a permanent member in 2023. Known for their aggressive metalcore style, the band combines heavy riffs with progressive elements, creating a unique musical experience. "Malfungsi" follows their previous releases "Layanan Perang" and "Joy Boy," showcasing their continued evolution and dedication to expressing their ideals through music.
