BLANC ET NOIR, the Indonesian deathcore band known for their raw exploration of dark themes, has remastered their haunting track Mata Hitam Tak Bertuhan ("Godless Black Eyes"). Originally released in 2012, this powerful track has been brought back to life on digital platforms with a fresh vocal contribution from Agustinus Widi (Haunted Era, Infernal Lamentations).

A Blend of Darkness and Intensity
BLANC ET NOIR, whose name translates from French as “Black and White,” symbolizes the stark contrast between light and dark, good and evil. This duality reflects their music’s emotional intensity and complex thematic exploration. Formed in Cimahi, West Java, in March 2011, BLANC ET NOIR quickly became known for their fierce sound and poignant lyrics, often delving into existential and despair-laden themes. "Mata Hitam Tak Bertuhan" itself paints a vivid picture of end-time chaos and the impending reality of mortality.

Looking Back, Moving Forward
After a hiatus from 2015 to 2022, BLANC ET NOIR returned with renewed vigor and, in early 2024, decided to remake Mata Hitam Tak Bertuhan with Agustinus Widi’s vocals adding an even darker dimension to the song. This remastered release is a preview of more to come, as the band is currently active on the Bandung music scene and preparing an EP slated for release in early 2025.
