#BreakingNews : RITUS Announces Upcoming Album “Ontran-Ontran,” Releases Single “Amuk” to Rage-Filled Enthusiasm

Formed in the chaos of mid-2021, RITUS has made a strong mark on the heavy music scene with their blend of heavy, sludge, hardcore, and metal influences. Comprising members who go by the names Zelos, Martius, Limos, and Moros, the band aims to deliver a sonic onslaught that is as intense as it is uncompromising.

Kicking off their journey, RITUS released the single “Amuk” in early 2022, a visceral opening salvo for their forthcoming album Ontran-Ontran. Now, as 2024 nears its end, anticipation builds for their debut full-length release under Frekuensi Records, expected either in late 2024 or early 2025. The album will feature four hard-hitting tracks: “Amuk,” “Kultur Kanibalis,” “Malam Kultus Iblis,” and “Maha Pralaya.”

Described as a ferocious blend of crushing distortion, aggressive rhythms, booming bass, and punishing drums, RITUS’s sound draws influence from bands like Mastodon, Crowbar, and Kylesa but refuses to be pigeonholed. “Amuk” channels a raw, unfiltered rage inspired by daily frustrations and personal stories, as well as influences from film, literature, and comics. Vocalist F.A.N. describes the song as “an emotional outburst from life's relentless challenges, culminating in pure fury.”

Guitarist Ginanjar and bassist Lutfi emphasize the band’s unique approach, blending various inspirations to create something fiercely original. Despite being geographically separated, the members’ shared passion keeps the momentum alive, proving that distance is no barrier to powerful creativity.

The single “Amuk” is now available on Bandcamp and all major digital streaming platforms. Its intense energy and vivid storytelling have already made an impact, with an animated music video released on the RITUS YouTube channel. For those yearning for a brutal sonic experience, RITUS is here to provide the catharsis you need. Stay tuned as Ontran-Ontran promises to deliver an unforgettable heavy music onslaught!
