#BreakingNews : GRACEKELLY Returns with New Single "Rasa dan Logika" After 8 Years!

After an eight-year hiatus since their 2016 mini-album The Beginning, Medan-based EMO/Screamo band GRACEKELLY has finally made a comeback with their latest single, "Rasa dan Logika." The song was officially released on all digital platforms on December 17, 2024.

"Rasa dan Logika" tells the heartbreaking story of a long-distance relationship with no clear ending, hindered by the greatest barrier of all—religious differences. It reflects the emotions of two souls who still love each other but must painfully accept separation. The song was inspired by the real-life experience of a former guitarist who once filled in for the band—Melon.

GRACEKELLY: A Legacy of Emotion and Screams

Formed in 2009, GRACEKELLY has been a staple in the Medan EMO/Screamo scene for over a decade. The band has previously released two singles, one mini-album, and participated in a compilation album in Bogor. They have also shared the stage with many national bands in Indonesia.

The current lineup consists of:

Andre – Vocals

Tesar – Guitar

Irol – Bass & Scream

Isan – Keyboard

Reza – Drums

GRACEKELLY has undergone significant lineup changes over the years. With Andre, Irol, and Reza remaining as the original members, they welcomed Isan (formerly of Dancing With Panda and Pretty Ghost Bride) on keyboards and Tesar on guitar to bring a fresh new sound to the band. Additionally, Irol, who previously played guitar, has now taken over on bass.

With this solidified lineup, GRACEKELLY is ready to make waves in the Indonesian EMO/Screamo scene once again.
