#BreakingNews : PARAJINGAN Challenges Beauty Privilege in New Single "RUPAWAN"

Kertasari-based Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band PARAJINGAN has once again unleashed a rebellious anthem with their latest single, "Rupawan." Known for their socially charged lyrics, the band previously protested against the education system with their 2022 singles "UKT" and "Sentimen." Now, they take a stand against Beauty Privilege, a phenomenon where attractive individuals receive unfair advantages in both the real and digital world.

"Rupawan" delivers a raw and furious Hard Rock and Heavy Metal fusion, reflecting PARAJINGAN’s anger toward the issue. The track is packed with crushing guitar riffs, aggressive basslines, pounding drums, and fierce vocals—all fueling the song’s rebellious spirit. The lyrics, sung in straightforward and unapologetic Indonesian, make their protest both bold and sophisticated.

Accompanying the song is a striking abstract artwork dominated by red and black hues, depicting a distorted face. This powerful visual, created by PARAJINGAN’s drummer Kamal Albanani, reinforces the song’s message.

"Rupawan" is part of the band's upcoming album, "Penikmat Api," set for release this year. As of January 13, 2025, the single is available for streaming on all major music platforms.

Stay tuned for more updates on PARAJINGAN and their fiery new album!
