Bermimpi Tentang Sebuah Dunia, the punk rock outfit hailing from Sukabumi, has officially released their long-awaited debut EP titled "Always Keep The Faith". The mini-album is a heartfelt reflection of the band’s journey since their formation in 2016—a story filled with lineup changes, perseverance, and an unshakable spirit to keep creating.
A Glimpse into the Band’s Journey
Formed by three close friends—Rido, Egi, and Edwin—the band started as a humble dream in 2016. Early creative momentum was disrupted when Egi had to move out of town for work, and the drum position saw temporary fill-ins, including Rio. Despite the hurdles, the band began performing in local Sukabumi gigs and finally started crafting original material.
Their first single, “Always Keep The Faith,” was recorded with the help of Faisa a.k.a. Caca. The track captures stories of friendship, street wisdom, and life’s gritty realities—an anthem for staying true to your passion and beliefs. “Never forget the streets and keep your mind faithful,” is the core message of the song.
Eventually, Edwin left to focus on his previous band, OloxEjo, and was replaced by Iyan a.k.a. Enyol. With Enyol, the band released their second single, “Kita Bukan Pecundang,” produced with support from Agung Darisman. The song serves as a boost of motivation for those struggling with life’s challenges.
Following another brief hiatus after the departure of both Rio and Enyol, the band's flame reignited in early 2025. They returned to the studio, writing three new tracks and compiling their earlier works into a full 6-track EP.
