#BreakingNews : TOILETKISS Drops Powerful Debut Single “Toleransi” – Hard Rock Stoner Trio from Central Java Sends a Message of Peace
BANYUBIRU, CENTRAL JAVA – The underground scene just got louder. TOILETKISS, a Hard Rock Stoner trio hailing from Banyubiru, Semarang, Central Java, has officially entered the spotlight with the release of their debut single "Toleransi" on January 30, 2025.
Formed in December 2021 by three young rebels—Irawan (lead guitar/vocals), Andi (bass), and Gilang (drums)—TOILETKISS emerged from late-night coffee-fueled hangouts with a vision to blend the raw energy of The Datsuns, Wolfmother, The Partisan, and Ramones. Initially covering classic tracks from Ramones and Kelompok Penerbang Roket, they later found their identity in the gritty world of Hard Rock Stoner.
The band's controversial yet unforgettable name, TOILETKISS, was inspired by a real-life incident witnessed by the vocalist during a vacation—an unfiltered moment outside a public restroom that led to the birth of their bold moniker.
Their debut track “Toleransi” carries a serious message beneath the distorted riffs and thunderous drums. It urges humanity to stop the violence, embrace differences, and respect every individual’s belief. The song serves as a powerful reminder that diversity in character and faith should never be a cause for conflict.
The recording, mixing, and mastering were handled by Shasha Aji of Crypticalsins Recorded, while the single's expressive artwork—featuring chaotic ink and pointillism—was created by Spoiledbyhate.
“Toleransi” is now available on all major digital streaming platforms. TOILETKISS has officially arrived—raw, loud, and unapologetically real. Stay tuned.
